Terms of Service — Gate Doctor

1. Acceptance

By installing, configuring, or using the Gate Doctor Discord bot or this website (together, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you are accepting on behalf of a Discord server, you represent that you have authority to bind that server's owner and administrators.

2. The Service

Gate Doctor is a Discord bot that helps community owners review and approve new members. We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time.

3. Free Trial

New servers receive a 30-day free trial with full functionality. No payment information is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial, the bot's paid features stop working in that server until a license is purchased.

4. Billing

Paid licenses are sold as a one-time purchase per Discord server, processed by our reseller of record, Paddle.com Market Limited. Paddle handles checkout, payment, taxes, and invoicing. Prices are listed on the pricing page and may change for new purchases.

5. Refund Policy

All sales are final and non-refundable. Because every server receives a 30-day free trial covering the full functionality of the Service before any purchase, we do not offer refunds once a license is purchased.

Exceptions required by applicable consumer-protection law (for example, certain rights for consumers in the EU/UK) will be honored as required. To request a legally-mandated refund, contact us at the address on the contact page.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service to violate Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines;
Use the Service to harass, defraud, or harm others;
Reverse engineer, resell, or attempt to circumvent license enforcement;
Use the Service to process data you have no lawful basis to process.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

7. Your Responsibilities as a Server Operator

You are responsible for the conduct of your Discord server, the data your members submit through the Service (including in-game names and approval decisions), and for disclosing your use of the Service to your members where required by law.

8. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gate Doctor and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by removing the bot from your server. We may suspend or terminate the Service or your license for breach of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including refund policy, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
